2023 Resident Membership & Owner’s Association Fees

Membership Benefits

Initiation Fees:
Improved Property: $38,000 upon closing
Unimproved Property (home site): $16,000 at closing & $22,000 upon completion or purchase of a home

Membership Dues:
Improved Property: $417/month
Unimproved Property: $2570/year (billed semi-annually) (If you rent, reside, or own additional improved property in Beaufort County, Improved Property dues & fees apply)
Multi-generational members may each be added for $79/month

Dataw Island Owner’s Association Dues: $3200/year (billed annually)

Please Note: The annual calendar year Dining Minimum (applies to improved property only) is $1380/year for a *family or $830/year for a *single member and is prorated upon closing through the end of the year.

*Membership and Sport Amenity Options include a member, spouse (or significant other living together on a full time basis), any dependent single children of a member under the age of 21, and any disabled child of a member regardless of age. Where “single” is indicated, “single” is defined as a one-person household.

Restricted Golf*: $287/month (enjoy unlimited tee times after 1:00 pm AND 25 tee times prior to 1:00 pm per family within a calendar year)
*Unlimited and Restricted Golf: Use a Club cart ($28/18 holes; $15/9 holes or “lease” for $2250/year) or use your own cart (Trail Fee: Family Membership $1440/year, Single Membership $900/year)

Country Club Dining-Only Membership: $425/year
No initiation fee required.
Provides full access to the Club’s Fine & Casual Dining facilities, including attendance at Special Dining Events and Bridge Functions.

*For fee purposes, a Family Membership includes a member, spouse and any dependent single children of a member under the age of 21, and any disabled child of a member regardless of age. It also includes an unmarried couple, one of whom is a member, residing together on a full-time basis. A Single Membership includes a single person, or surviving spouse until remarriage, and a divorced member or spouse until remarriage.

2023 Renter Membership at Dataw Island Club Summary

We are pleased to offer long-term renter memberships for those who rent on Dataw Island for 30 days or more. Please note that this membership is on a month-to-month basis and allows for amenity usage based on amenity selections chosen.
